Have you ever listened to a bunch of snowboarders talk? It is like a foreign language for the uninitiated they are talking for what on earth is a Nollie, or a Falkie, a Shifty and a Poptart? Listen to them long enough and your mind will be so confused that you want to either slink off and never look at a snowboard again or promptly join the local chess club.

Gravity Is No Longer Your Master: A Snowboarding Trick
Once the bug has bitten though, it wont be long when sedately snowboarding along will not be enough, you will want to start doing snowboarding tricks. Again here you find much controversy as each person will tell you this snowboarding trick is the best ever, or that aerial move outweighs all the others. As snowboarding is highly competitive and for those who participate in the competitions, it is intense and the prestige of being the best is all important. The top snowboarders usually agree that there are a large number of snowboarding tricks in each of the categories.
They will also tell you that if you do snowboarding for fun, it is far better to concentrate on a set of snowboarding tricks that you personally have an affinity for. It is far better to be good at a specific set of snowboarding tricks instead of trying to master them all and be mediocre at many. If you want to turn your different tricks into one that you would consider your best snowboard trick, a good idea is to make a list of those tricks you have mastered, starting with those you are most confident with.
Then start comparing the one you have picked with what the other snowboarders out there are doing. See how they have refined this snowboarding trick, what innovations they have brought to the sport and work from there. It is possible that you can make each snowboarding trick your own;it is all about the sport and the exhilarating feeling of flying free.
